Clear explanations of your rights
-

-
Ensuring professionals understand your child’s needs
-
Professional validation of issues that you may see (evidence of these issues required)
How does Parent Advocacy work?
We begin by understanding the concerns, the context, and what kind of advocacy support is likely to be most helpful.
Depending on your situation, this may involve helping you prepare for a meeting, attending a meeting with you, drafting a professional letter, explaining your rights and options, or helping you think through next steps where communication with services has become difficult, confusing or stuck.
Our approach is practical, collaborative and focused on helping you feel clearer, steadier and better supported.
What are the benefits of Parent Advocacy?
-
Reduce overwhelm when systems feel difficult to navigate
-
Improve communication with schools, professionals and services
-
Make meetings feel clearer and more manageable
-
Ensure your child’s needs are understood more accurately
-
Support you to feel more informed about your rights and options
-
Help you advocate with greater clarity and confidence
