Working Arrangement: Employees work remotely from home and travel to client appointments when required. The business does not operate from a permanent office premises.

Net Zero Commitment: We are committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and achieving net zero by 2050 through sustainable business practices, responsible travel and continual environmental improvement.

Current Emissions

As a predominantly remote business, our principal sources of greenhouse gas emissions include:

  • Employee travel to client appointments and meetings.

  • Home energy consumption associated with remote working.

  • Business equipment such as laptops, monitors and mobile phones.

  • Any materials required for sessions e.g. paper

  • Digital operations, including cloud-based systems and virtual meetings.

Net Zero Objectives

Our objectives are to:

  • Minimise emissions associated with business travel.

  • Maximise remote working and virtual meetings where appropriate.

  • Reduce waste through paperless working.

  • Encourage the use of low-emission transport.

  • Continually review and improve our environmental performance.

Action Plan

Monitoring and Review

The business will review its environmental performance annually by monitoring:

  • Business travel mileage.

  • Number of virtual versus face-to-face appointments.

  • Opportunities for car sharing.

  • Uptake of low-emission vehicle options.

  • Paper usage and recycling.

  • Procurement of sustainable equipment and supplies.

This plan will be reviewed annually to identify further opportunities to reduce emissions and support the business's progress towards achieving net zero.

Residual Emissions

We recognise that some emissions, such as essential travel to client appointments and the use of IT equipment, cannot be eliminated entirely. Our priority is to reduce these emissions wherever practical through remote working, efficient journey planning, car sharing, and the use of low-emission vehicles. We will review opportunities to offset any unavoidable emissions in the future if appropriate. However, our priority will always be to reduce emissions at source before considering offsetting.
