Becoming a SPIRAL Trainer

Becoming a SPIRAL Trainer

The SPIRAL manual and training programmes offer an invaluable vehicle for communicating complex ideas to residential care staff, and to embed psychologically minded, trauma informed and evidence based practices within children’s homes. Research shows that training staff in a therapeutic model improves morale, staff confidence and outcomes for young people.

We are always looking for passionate, committed and suitably qualified professionals to deliver SPIRAL training under license with Aspire.

We recognise that inspirational trainers command high fees and are generous in our pay structures. Pay depends on banding and experience.

As an accredited SPIRAL trainer, you will also be licensed to run SPIRAL courses in your own organisations for half the usual cost of the courses.

Thus becoming a trainer increases your own skill set, gives you access to SPIRAL resources and allows your organisation to access high quality training at significantly lower costs.

Eligibility

  • Extensive experience or working with Looked After Children
  • Relevant mental health qualifications or KSF framework equivalent
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Confident and inspiring speaker.
