Nurture, empower, grow.

We believe this begins with a clear, compassionate understanding of each child’s strengths, difficulties, and individual needs through specialist assessments. From there, we provide flexible, responsive support, working closely with children, families, and the wider systems around them to promote wellbeing, resilience, and achievement.

Traditionally, Aspire’s services have been fully funded through Local Authority and NHS contracts, ensuring support was free to families. However, with increasing funding cuts and exceptionally long waiting times for CAMHS, we are now offering our assessment and therapeutic services directly to families who wish to access support sooner.

We also specialise in working with Looked After Children, and children who have experienced adoption. Our work supports vulnerable and distressed children and families, including those affected by complex trauma and attachment difficulties.

Autism, ADHD, and Sensory Assessments

Our child-centred, neuro-affirming assessments help families gain clarity when there are questions about autism, ADHD, sensory processing, learning differences or more complex overlapping needs. Led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, our trauma-informed approach looks at the whole child — including strengths, experiences and support needs.

We provide thorough assessments, clear diagnoses where appropriate, and detailed reports with practical recommendations to help families, schools and professionals better understand and support a child or young person. Our pathways include ADHD, autism and combined assessments, sensory and cognitive screening, and specialist holistic assessments where neurodivergence may overlap with trauma, attachment or emotional needs.
